Out-of-Band Communication in Wi-Fi for Smartphone Energy Saving

In this project, we propose a new power-saving strategy for screen-off Wi-Fi communications. We also propose a novel paradigm, Out-of-Band Communication, for client-to-client direct communications. The results show that our system reduces screen-off energy by up to 60%.
